How to Deal With Psychic Vampires

I have been feeling great lately and have been in a good mood. The other day my Wife and I went to a pizza feed at the senior apartments we live at. The food was great and we did not stay too long. When we got home I was in a bed mood for no reason and did not know why. My wife and I talked about it and realized we were among people who talked about thier health and complained almost all the time. They actually sucked out the energy in us and we were tired and grumpy. These people are called Pyschic Vampires who drain ;your energy.

Psychic vampires, also known as energy vampires, are emotionally immature individuals who drain the time and energy from those around them. They are usually highly self-interested and lack empathy. The relationships they form are largely self serving. You can deal with psychic vampires by identifying psychic vampires in your life, setting firm boundaries with these people, and working on your own sense of self esteem and self worth
1. Familiarize yourself with the various types of psychic vampires. Psychic vampires come in a variety of forms. Relationships that drain our energy can manifest in a variety of personality types. Recognize the various forms psychic vampires can take.

Narcissistic psychic vampires have grandiose senses of self importance and entitlement. They tend to lack empathy and become withholding or cold if you don’t do things their way. This is because they have little capacity for unconditional love.
Victim vampires tend to see the world through the lens of “poor me.” They believe the world is inherently against them and to blame for their unhappiness. They tend to drain energy by constantly complaining about problems but refusing to try any potential solutions you suggest.
Controlling energy vampires have a need to control and manipulate your actions. They often invalidate your emotions in order to dominate you or put you down.[1]
Constant talking psychic vampires take over conversations by constantly sharing their own feelings and experiences without giving you an opportunity to contribute. They might also invade physical boundaries, moving in so close you can feel their breath on you.[2]
Drama queen psychic vampires drain energy by exaggerating small instances. Being late for a meeting is the end of the world, and they convey small matters in a way that over-inflates their own importance, for better or worse.
2. Evaluate your relationships. Take a minute to assess your relationship with potential psychic vampires. Question whether or not you feel drained by these people and whether the relationship is mutually beneficial.

Are you the type of person who has a strong capacity for empathy? Oftentimes, psychic vampires take advantage of those with a high emotional capacity as they take longer to get fed up. Are you the type of person who’s accused of being too nice? Do you frequently find yourself in relationships that feel one-sided?[4]
If a relationship seems draining, question whether it’s mutually beneficial for both parties. Psychic vampires thrive on one-sided friendships and romances. Think of the last time you were in emotional distress. Was this person there for you? Did he or she strive to listen or make the situation about themselves?
3. Tune in to your own feelings. If you’ve encountered a psychic vampire, there are physical and emotional side effects. You might have a relationship with an energy vampire if you display any of the following symptoms:

Heavy eyelids and an increased need for sleep
Low mood
Desire to binge eat carbs and other comfort foods
Feelings of anxiety, depression, and negativity
You feel put down frequently
Shutting Out Psychic Vampires
1. Set firm boundaries. The first step to dealing with a psychic vampire is by setting firm boundaries. If psychic vampires realize you have limits, they’ll back off from you and search for other victims.

Be very clear about what you can and cannot do for this person. Explain, in no uncertain terms, what amount of your time, space, and energy is reasonable and what is not. Try saying something like, “I am perfectly happy to talk with you about your problems, but when you refuse to listen to any possible solutions or let me help you feel better I need to step away.”[7]
Try to set boundaries on your own end, especially if you’re dealing with a narcissistic psychic vampire. Try to remind yourself you should not fall in love or form a strong friendship with a person of this emotional capacity. It is not possible for them to love you back.[8]
Body language helps as well. If a psychic vampire tries to break boundaries, cross your arms and break eye contact. This sends a signal – “Back off, I can’t deal with this today.
2. Step back if you feel controlled. Psychic vampires thrive on controlling others. If you feel like your time and space is being controlled by another person, take a step back from the relationship.

If a psychic vampire is trying to control you or offering unsolicited advice, cut them off with a firm declaration that you do not need their advice. Try something like, “I appreciate you offering advice, but I need to work through this on my own.”[10]
People often internalize criticism from psychic vampires. You end up with an inner critic, just as harsh as the psychic vampire. Work to shut down the voice inside yourself that tells you you’re incapable of making your own decisions. If you find yourself putting yourself down, pause and think, “That’s negative and unnecessary.
3. Stay way from psychic vampires. After a certain point, you might have to break off the relationship or at least lessen the bond. If a psychic vampire continues to violate boundaries and demand too much of your time and emotional energy, you need to work on keeping your distance. Don’t return texts or phone calls and limit the time you spend with this person
4. .Practice deep breathing. It can be stressful and exhausting to deal with a psychic vampire. Deep breathing can help you relax, restoring some sense of calm, and can also be an invigorating activity.

Throughout the day, place your hand on your lower stomach and breathe in. Inhale in such a way that your hand on your stomach rises as your diaphragm expands. Hold for three counts, and then exhale.[13]
Deep breathing can be a meditative practice. It slows down your thoughts and provides your brain with needed oxygen. This can boost your energy if it’s been diminished by a psychic vampire
Working on Yourself
1. See a therapist. Many people who end up in relationships with psychic vampires have underlying issues with self esteem. Seeing a qualified therapist can help if you have problems with your emotions, feelings, and interactions with other people. You can find a therapist by asking your doctor for a referral, seeing what is covered by your insurance provider, or seeking free counseling from your college or university if you are a student

.
2. Get to know yourself. Oftentimes, we make ourselves susceptible to psychic vampires because we do not know ourselves. Spending time getting to know your own needs and wants can help you keep psychic vampires away.

Journaling can help you become acquainted with yourself. Write down your thoughts and feelings on a daily basis. Choose a time, like in the morning or shortly before bed, to record your emotions.
Spend time alone. Work on making a conscious effort to spend time alone. You’ll be forced to consider yourself and your emotions if you choose to spend a few nights a week by yourself.
Consider whether you’re a people pleaser. If you’re unwilling to say “no” and afraid of letting someone down, this is bait for psychic vampires. Try to move away from people pleasing tendencies to lessen the hold psychic vampires have on you.
3. Engage in energy building activities. Being high energy and confident can put off energy vampires. Work on engaging in activities that will boost your energy and self esteem. You can try some of the following:

Regular exercise
Team sports
Yoga
Pilates
Karate or other self defense courses
Swimming
Kayaking
Outdoor sports

We need him

trump-elite

America’s intellectual conservatives and liberals may not agree on various issues of policy, but there is one thing that unites them: More often than not, they are both blind to the realities of what it’s like to actually live and work in the United States. They shut themselves up in the Washington upper-class clubs and the tonier areas of New York City, completely oblivious to the truth of today’s middle class.

It is for this reason that they are continually shocked and dismayed by the rise of Republican nominee Donald Trump. They can’t stand his crude remarks, his disdain for political correctness, or his revolutionary approach to issues like global trade and immigration. Trump’s policies didn’t come from a think-tank. They didn’t come from this month’s issue of National Review. They don’t sound much like anything we’ve heard from mainstream Republicans for the last quarter-century.

That terrifies and disgusts the pundit class, just as it electrifies and inspires voters outside of that bubble. For years, these elitists have been telling us how good these trade policies are for the U.S., deliberately choosing to ignore the effects they’ve had on millions of working-class Americans. For years, they’ve been celebrating the “diversity” of immigration, while turning a blind eye to the stagnant wages and entry-level unemployment rates that have plagued middle America.

When it comes to foreign policy, the difference between liberal and conservative elitists is even more difficult to pinpoint. Each slams the other side for various things…before going on to propose policies that are hardly different. Save a few, each of the Republicans running for the nomination this year harshly criticized Obama’s war on ISIS, but their own proposed strategies sounded as though they could have come straight out of his administration.

Trump has spent a lot of time hammering Washington’s subservience to special interests – and that’s important – but the biggest problem may be the subservience to the status quo. No one is brave enough to actually think outside the box, and that’s why things seem to get worse and worse, no matter which party happens to occupy the White House.

The time has come to pursue a new path. Trump may not be able to rattle off a dozen rehearsed, overly-complex soundbites that make it sound like he’s an expert on everything, but he’s not afraid to break from decades of clearly-broken policy. That gets under the skin of elitists, but it’s exactly what our country needs right now.

Wake Up People

Franklin Graham

Subject:
 The American dream

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the
flow that has passed will never pass again.

Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, was speaking at the First
Baptist Church in Jacksonville ,
Florida in January, 2015, when he said
America will not come back. He wrote:

The American dream ended on November 6th, 2012 in Ohio . The second
term of Barack Obama has been the final nail in the coffin for the
legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored,
pioneered, settled and developed the greatest republic in the history
of mankind. A coalition of blacks, Latinos, feminists, gays,
government workers, union members, environmental extremists, the
media, Hollywood , uninformed young people, the “forever needy,” the
chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other “fellow travelers”
have ended Norman Rockwell’s America .

You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual
acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get
back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take
zealots, not moderates and shy, not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to
right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.
People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will
probably never again be able to legally comment on or concern myself
with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture,
our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

The cocker spaniel is off the front porch, the pit bull is in the back
yard. The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky’s
“Rules for Radicals.” The likes of Chicago shyster David Axelrod
along with international socialist George Soros have been pulling the
strings on their beige puppet and brought us Act 2 of the New World
Order. The curtain will come down but the damage has been done, the
story has been told.

Those who come after us will once again have to risk their lives,
their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that
this generation has timidly frittered away due to white guilt and
political correctness…

This was sent in my email today. Thought I would share it.

We are being Invaded

wh

I have tried to find who said it. But so far I have not been successful but around world war 2 it was either German or Russia who said: We will not take your country by force but will infiltrate your government, police, ect…………) then a few years later a movie was made showing young men trained to speak perfect English and each was schooled in a different occupation. Then they would be sent to America to infiltrate the system. They were schooled in planning the over throw of the USA.
Now I know this sounds far fetched, but have you looked at our government and seen how many muslins have been elected into office and every  year more and more muslins are campaigning for office. And they get elected’
Wake up people, we are silently being invade!!!
Then we have the Liberals who are trying to ruin our country for Power and Money.

Today I found this in USA 24 http://www.usatwentyfour.com/muslims-take-u-s-town-immediately-begin-implementing-sharia-law/

Thinking

clouds

What would be a good subject for my blog today, while setting here trying to decide my mind wanders all over the place and cannot seem to settle onto a single subject, so what do I do?
So I decided to go over some of the things on my mind today.
1. My wife and I need to lose some weight but not sure whether we would like to go no carbs, low fat or calorie counting. We have tried most of them to no avail. So what do we do?
2. I have a GreatCall phone and my wife has an older iPhone. I have ordered a senior phone from Freedompop, so I am not sure whether to get rid of the GreatCall phone or the iPhone. Either way I will save money.
3. Everyone has a bucket list, well one of mine it to go to Bishop Ca where I was born and haven’t been to in years. I would like to reaquaint myself with the wonders of Bishop. Mt Tom is magnificient and the mountain lakes are beautiful. Makes me homesick thinking about it.

4. I am an avid 2nd amendment supporter, I read the latest articles on Facebook, emails and gun sites. California is one of the most anti-gun states in the union with state politicians sending one bill after another to the governor to sign, which he probably will. These are the things gun owners have to battle everyday om California.
Well these are some of the things I have been thinking about

My Thoughts

California Gun Control Pundit

Gun control? Did we elect the politicians just to see how they can change the 2nd amendment in California. I don’t think so. But month after month that is what seems to be their ultimate agenda, then what?  Power., yep that is what they want, Power over us. Do you really think they even care about our safety? So why should we care about theirs? Yep, Fight Back. How? overload them with calls and mail, start impeaching them. Or at least Recall them.

Here is a list of their latest Power grabs.

Isadore Hall, IIISB 880 (Hall) – SB 880 will serve as a reclassification of various weapons such as semiautomatic center-fire rifles or semiautomatic pistols that can accept a detachable magazine to “assault weapons”, meaning that these weapons would now be illegal.

Keven de LeonSB 1235 (De Leon) – SB 1235 will require the California Department of Justice to keep a data-base on all ammunition transactions and require purchasers of ammo to undergo screening with each ammunition purchase.

Hannah-Beth acksonSB 894 (Jackson) – SB 894 will make it a crime if an individual gun owner does not report their gun stolen within 5 days of realizing that their weapon has gone missing. This legislation will also make it a crime to fail to report a recovered gun within 48 hours.

Lois WolkSB 1006 (Wolk) – SB 1006 would direct the University of California to use taxpayer funds for gun control research.

Keven de LeonSB 1407 (De Leon) – SB 1407 would require as of, July 1, 2018, that all newly manufactured weapons must have a serial number or unique identifier or the manufacturer or assembler will face consequences. This bill would also require as of, January 1, 2019, that all gun owners who own a weapon with out a unique identifier must apply to the California Department of Justice for a identifier for weapons dating back to 1899.

Loni HancockSB 1446 (Hancock) – SB 1446 would make it, as of, July 1, 2017, a crime to posses any high capacity magazine regardless of when the magazine was acquired. The first offense would be a fine not exceeding 100 dollars and with subsequent offenses, the punishment would rise.

Here is the guy who loves to sign them into law
